The Four Specfictioneers Ride!

Monday, 19 November 2012

One of the reasons I blog is to record the disasters and occasional triumphs of my writing life. But I'm always wary of banging on too much about stories and ebooks I have out there because, frankly, it gets boring, no?

But there has to be a place for letting people know about works they might like. That's why I'm delighted to be a part of the SpecFic Authors Collective - four writers of speculative fiction clubbing together to help promote each other's work.

I'm in good company: the other three contributors are Jeff Chapman, Milo James Fowler and Lyndon Perry.  I suspect they're just having me along as a token non-American, but of course they're too polite to say so.
We launch on November 25th with four eBook giveaways. There'll be a collection of dark SF tales, a cyberpunk novelette, a spooky short story, and a Mesoamerican fantasy - all available for free for a limited time.

  2. Thanks, Alex. Yeah, should be good.

  3. Best of luck with this — and I hope you have better hats that D'Artagnan and co.

  4. Thanks, Whirlochre. Yes, hats! We need hats!

  5. I'm going to say Fedoras.

Good luck with this, Simon. I think it's a great way of getting your work out.

  6. Thanks, Deborah. Yes, fedoras could work. Mind you, Milo would probably go for a cowboy hat...

  7. Mos def -- looking forward to our virtual launch party, Amigo!
