Sale: We, The People of the Clouds

Thursday, 5 September 2013

So, Deepwood Publishing have bought my 13000 word SF story We, the People of the Clouds for their Ruined Cities anthology. Not sure when it will see the light of day - the inevitable editing is to be done first...

Deepwood are accepting submissions for several very cool anthologies, actually. As well as Ruined Cities there is The Death God's Chosen, The Ways of Magic and Splintered Lands - all pretty hard to resist. Full details are here if you're interested.

    1. It is, isn't it? I try to write shorter, usually, but this one grew and grew...

    1. Mind you, they may want to edit it down to 3000 words...

  6. Ooooh congratulations! I really wanted to sub something to that anthology but lacked any concrete inspiration. Now, however, I'll have extra incentive to pick up a copy when it comes out :)

    1. Thanks, Rhonda. It was serendipity really - I wrote the story before I knew about the antho and fortunately it fit nicely. Love it when that happens.
