This Month's Free Story

Saturday, 22 February 2014

This month's newsletter is all ready to wing its way out to subscribers, and this time the free story is slipstream tale Museum Beetles.

For the people who live in the vast, uncharted halls of the Museum, the world is changing. The Great Beetles escape their gold and crystal display cabinet and begin to colonise the other rooms. Devouring, growing, changing. Slowly, the people’s whole world is destroyed.

Facing oblivion, one person suggests the impossible. To escape the unending halls and go outside. No one knows if such a thing is possible, if there even is an outside. But soon there is little choice but to try...

"a lesson in brilliant storytelling. The world building is phenomenal. This story deserves an award." (LitHaven)

    1. Thanks, Erin! I decided to send out monthly newsletters rather than one for each post, so you should be receiving it any moment now (as it's the last day of the month).
