A couple of poems emerge blinking into the light of day today: Laboured and A Sudden Distance, over at Page and Spine magazine.
A Sudden Distance is a recent poem, started about 18 months ago. But Laboured is one of my oldest pieces, originally written about 14 years back. It's been revised and honed a bit since then, and was rejected by 16 poetry magazines over the years before being bought by Page and Spine. This might be a record for me.
