Reading at the BristolCon Fringe...

Sunday, 20 December 2015

Tomorrow night (December 21st) I'm doing a reading at the BristolCon Fringe - if anyone happens to be in the area and wants to come along and cheer (or heckle) it's at the Shakespeare Tavern on Prince Street at around 7:30.

I have 20-30 minutes and I'm still not sure what to read. I'm thinking either a couple of flash fictions (one SF, one fantasy for balance) - or maybe a short story like Her Long Hair Shining, which is sort of a Christmas ghost story.

We shall see. Wish me luck...

  1. How did it go? What did you end up reading?

  2. I read a couple of things: short story In the Detail as I figured it might get a few laughs from a crowd in a pub (glad to say it did) and then the first chapter of Hedge Witch. It was recorded, too, so I believe there might be audio available at some point...

    1. Did you enjoy it? Readings make me nervous. But afterwards, I feel good!

    2. Readings terrify me, frankly, but I seem to slip into a sort of weird "I can do this" mode and it's OK. And, yes, afterwards, it feels good!

I'd love to know what you think.
